Q.01What is Pactolane?
Pactolane is a SaaS contract lifecycle management (CLM) platform designed for SMBs and mid-market companies. It covers contract creation from templates and a clause library, negotiation with counterparties, playbooks, approval workflows, electronic signature, the contract repository, the counterparty directory and the dashboard. The Growth and Scale plans add analysis by the PactAI assistant and deadline and obligation tracking, and the Scale plan opens an MCP server and an API to your agents and applications. It is available in French, English, German, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian.

The Team plan (€149 per month excl. VAT) includes contract creation, the clause library, playbooks, approval workflows, external negotiation, the counterparty directory, unlimited simple electronic signature and the DocuSign, Yousign and Dropbox Sign connectors. The Growth plan (€499 per month excl. VAT) adds automatic AI analysis, PactAI, deadline and obligation tracking, contract families, and CRM and storage integrations. Q.03Does Pactolane cover the entire contract lifecycle?
Pactolane covers the entire contract lifecycle, from creation to renewal. A contract starts life in Pactolane from a template or by importing a PDF or Word file, is negotiated with the counterparty, goes through its approval workflow, is signed electronically, then joins the contract repository where, on the Growth and Scale plans, its deadlines, obligations and linked amendments are tracked. The dashboard gives an overview of the portfolio at every stage.
Q.04Where is the data hosted?
Data in Pactolane is hosted in France and Belgium, on Google Cloud, a host that Pactolane discloses transparently. It is encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM, and personal data is removed before any AI processing. An ISO 27001 certification process is underway. Full details are on our security page.
Q.05How do I get started with Pactolane?
To get started with Pactolane, you can launch a free trial of the Team (7 days) or Growth (14 days) plan yourself, or book a demo to see the platform applied to your own use cases. Your existing contracts can be imported as PDF or Word files, and your Word templates can be brought into the template editor. For a custom project, the Scale plan includes dedicated support and legal onboarding.
